fender jazz bass
A bass guitar first released by Fender in 1960. It is one of the most popular bass guitars alongside its older sibling - the Fender Precision Bass, originally released as a bass counterpart to the Fender Jazzmaster, featuring a focus on brighter sounds as opposed to its older sibling. It often is called "J Bass".
Visual differences with the Precision Bass include a more angular, skewed body and a more curved pickguard along with two straight pickups being the most common configuration.
Akiyama Mio is the most prominent character who plays a Jazz Bass.
