World-renown American instrument maker founded by legendary Clarence Leonidas Fender, much better known as Leo Fender in 1946, situated in Arizona. Fender is mostly known by its line of solid-body electric guitars and bass guitars which have been passed and played by an endless multitude of both massively popular and underground music players alike.
Some of the better known characters in Japanese media who use Fender instruments, explicitly or not, include K-On!'s Akiyama Mio (Jazz Bass) and Nakano Azusa (Mustang), Angel Beats!' Hisako (Jazzmaster) and Iwasawa Masami (Stratocaster), and Tokyo 7th Sisters' Seto Ferb (Jazz Bass).
