I think the body part at the bottom can be misunderstood as her arm, but it's her lower leg as she is sitting in wariza. You can see the shading around her ankle bone. Or is there any problem with the arm regardless?

Can you tell me why this was unapproved? I cannot see any reason why it wasn't. It does not have any imperfections and it is of high quality.

For post #116285 even if it's her leg, the arc of her foot is too dramatic if she's sitting with her toes out and sitting with her toes inward would be impossible unless you have an inhumanly flexible ankle. For post #116110 we can see the heel of her foot terminate before the edge of her sleeve and in any case even if that blob of flesh color was her foot, it's also too blurry and indistinct to be taken for anything but the AI messing up.
So I want to know where the little user sees that it is of poor quality. post #116304

Fingers are borked, tons of ringing artefacts (overcooked and/or underbaked, likely cfg too high or too many loras), low detail but oversharpened so probably poor upscaling somewhere in the pipeline, backgrounds dont make sense, and what iodoff pointed out.
All things that are fixable/avoidable easily and quickly, so approvers have no time for it.

ok but for loli it's ok
I would like a review on post #116791. It was given the reason "floating condom" but I'm pretty sure it's hanging off her tongue? It even bends where it would logically meet her tongue. Compare to post #116795, which yeah I agree that's floating.
There's also post #116789. This didn't have a reason given, but since alot of jinuxnova was approved recently (which I appreciate), I wanted some feedback on what was wrong here.

How do you think it's hanging there? Is there a counterweight? Is it glued to her tongue? If she was holding it with her teeth, then the image would make sense. But it's just hanging there in midair, because weight has ceased to have any meaning.

Also:
"visible hand should be left hand, but fingers seem like right hand... that, or pinky is somehow as long as the index".
https://ibb.co/SwxYHk19
It's up to reviewers, of course, but pinky and index fingers are not the same length. Middle and ring fingers are maybe a bit too similar in length, but middle finger is bent a bit, so it's kind of longer, maybe not enough.
Still, pieces with worse hands get accepted (no offense to the authors), so...
As examples, here ring finger is even longer than middle finger:

Or this with extra finger (that's clearly an extra index finger and not a thumb):

could someone please explain why this is apparently too low quality to be refused by 4 reviewers, when it had already collected score, and even a comment saying "wow"
in fact, all my posts were deleted and im honestly baffled as to why considering they look better than half the slop on this site. just go look. and they are animated. if anyone claimed they were low effort or low quality i am very very confused. it seems like the system you have here is not a good one, judging from all the unanswered questions over a month old.
if you prefer to have a site full of the same flat boring character portraits then that is your prerogative. if my content is not welcome here i will take it elsewhere. i'm not seeing much value in using this site when things are so arbitrary and subjective.
i guess i wish you luck, but im starting to feel like the concept of this site in general is a little short-sighted

AI Videos aren't that great. If you want to argue about "slop", maybe take a look at this video and see why I uploaded it and not the average AI vid hentai slop:
A single comment saying "wow" is meaningless to our judgement, so are upvotes. We only go by the quality, or lack thereof, when it comes to approving. Like I said, I skip over basically every single video in the queue, unless if you have an actually eye-catching thumbnail, it's most definitely getting skipped.
Basically all your videos look schizophrenic one way or another. No amount of post-processing is evident, nor any ounce of evidence being in the territory of ai-assisted rather than pure AI generated.
AI videos in general, if we're being honest, are interesting for at most five seconds before you get tired of looking at them. Maybe if you wanted me, and perhaps some other approvers to care more, then don't use the Pony slop style like everyone else. The only difference between a Pony slop style image here and your videos, is that your videos are videos and not images.
Sorry for being blunt, but this is just my honest two cents.
AI videos and futanari are unpopular and less likely to be approved. If you don't care to change the content you post, then aibooru is not for you.

I have an upload that I am certain will not get approved (for good reason), can I delete it myself? Also, can I potentially revise the image and re-upload it as a revision at some point?
@AIgeneratorAnonymous Uploads that do not get approved will be automatically deleted after 3 days since they were posted or appealed. You may produce an improved version of the picture (like fixing artifacts, improving the VAE...). You can then request a replacement in the Image Replacement Request Thread of that post, and as long as the image is not too different in composition & pose, it will go through, and thus its chances of getting approved become higher

For the development of AI art, I think priority should be given to those with metadata.
Let me put this simply:
If I see an image I like, I approve it. If I see an image I don't like, I either disinterest it or label it as poor quality if it has issues. It comes down purely to the image itself. Approvers do not, nor should they, have any bias to anything about a post that isn't about the image itself, save for maybe tags. We don't prioritize anything in the modqueue, nor should we. If we were to introduce any bias, you'd see a lot less variance in the posts being approved overall. It is to give every post an equal playing field, we let the image speak for itself. If the image is good, an approver will approve it. If not, it's probably going to status:deleted.

My post here, post #128229 was disapproved for low quality and disinterest.
https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts?tags=asgore_running_over_dess_(meme)
https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/9472015
Part of the meme format is the low quality MS-Paint look. While quality is subjective, I don't see how following the meme format counts as low quality.
I also have a time-lapse of the creation process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVZBOywSrnA

Looking at the timelapse this looks more ai-assisted than generated. I don't really understand the meme and that's why I didn't approve it. But you're free to appeal it, maybe someone else will.
Could I get another check on the children posts of post #128883?
I posted the first one as a test and the children ones after it, the parent got approved by Nacho almost immediately so I'd guess if I had posted them all together I could've gotten them all approved.
Maybe there are indeed details that make the entire series lower quality except for the parent one but just having 1 approved out of 6 is a bit of a shame.

Did her dress look noisy?
hi there, post #129906 of mine got auto-deleted because it wasn't approved by someone (4 people have expressed disinterest). is it because the character is too niche? maybe it's the hand hanging in the back? i'm not sure, at least i personally can't see anything that's directly egregious (well, maybe the frills in the middle of her chest, i guess? but that's the only thing i noticed), so any advice would be appreciated!
EDIT: thank you for approving! but if there's any feedback i can take to avoid that from happening again, do let me know.

- post #129754 – The dress is fine I think, but personally I didn't approve it because the perspective, pose, and shading are just somehow off.
This perspective and pose are intentional, and I really like them. It's voyeuristic, though.
A month late, but can someone explain why post #128406 and post #130127 were deleted? Were there any errors I missed? Thank you in advance.
I would like to respectfully post my thoughts on the approval process:
It is very frustrating when posts do not get approved and you have no clue whatsoever WHY.
"Poor quality", sometimes used, is a statement so generic that it is not helpful in any way.
It is totally unclear if the task of approval is one of moderation (have rules been violated or not), or a task of curation or sponsorship.
In case the approval process is one of curation or sponsorship - this implies that there is content preferred by certain approvers. The question would be what type of content is expected, and what kind of content should be omitted.
Looking at the posts that have been approved or not my personal subjective impression is:
a lot of generic, bland stuff with low upvotes does get approved. on the other hand, a lot of interesting material (with high user upvotes) does not get approved.
It is unclear if and to what extent the feedback of the audience (and upvotes) do matter or not.
Moderation is a lot of hard work (thank you!).
But it seems there are simply not enough moderators. Add more!
In case you have a trust problem adding more moderators: Adding a larger number of "deputy" moderators is a solution in such scenarios. A post would only be approved if 2 or more "deputy" moderators approve it.
Of course there are a lot more ways to bring in more helping hands without giving up final control.
Top on my wish list: a single field with e.g. 1 of 8 reasons why a post was rejected would be soo helpful. (and no, "poor quality" should not be one of them)
Thanks!

The mod queue is a legacy system from Danbooru. It is completely up to the site owner and the appointed approvers' personal preference. Ideally to prevent people from dumping large amount of generic R34 ugly garbage.
Things that get approved simply mean they happened to met the quality standard of a specific approver. They do have a quota to meet and vanilla stuff are easy to approve. Don't stress too much if your stuff get "deleted", especially if they meet AIBooru Quality and get a lot upvotes. It means that ur stuff do have a audience here but they are too risque for any approvers to attach their name to, for whatever reason.
In principle, I agree with @DarkerShadeOfPale it would be great if the approval process made more sense and gave actual feedback. Except that is probably not going to happen as it would first require changing how the site operates. Plus coming up with the reason for disapproval takes way more time than just clicking approve/skip.
Many times I look at an image and there is nothing outright "wrong" with it, but overall it just looks bad – the perspective is just a bit off, the limbs have slightly bad proportions, shading looks unappealing, lines are messy, and a ton of other things that aren't exactly disqualifying the image on their own and each could be easily contested. But in combination, the image just doesn't look good.
There's only about ten actually active approvers on the site and almost 2000 posts approved and 4000 uploaded each month on average. So unless we get five times more approvers or switch to having everything approved by default and hoping that bad posts will be flagged, nothing will change.
"Just get more approvers" sounds like a great idea, until you realize we're not Danbooru and have a vastly lower number of approver candidates than they ever will. Unless you have specific people you want to recommend for approver promotions, that actually want to do that job, I doubt there's going to be more any time soon.
"Make everything approved by default" is a horrible idea that would render the contributor level useless (which is supposed to be granted to people that understand expected quality and are trusted enough to bypass the queue) and would circumvent the upload limit (which is also an anti-spam measure).
I've personally been on and off in activity due to managing my own site and other obligations, but I've been trying to be more active and even approving things that I might personally dislike but aren't ugly or too extreme for my tastes.

133909 and 133762 were deleted. Curious on the reason since they were reviewed by multiple approvers only to get disinterest.
These have the issues what I have noticed on overly upscaled NovelAI images - the details get butchered and overly sharp. Eyelashes is a common problem when doing this and on the second image the fishnets are extremely inconsistent, as well as the lace on the clothing and some background elements like the window frames.

Oh, I see. Thanks for answering. I'll be avoiding the upscale option from now on. I'll just use the large picture option instead since it keeps the quality.

- post #135566 – seems good to me, approved
- post #135153 – her right leg looks too short

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate the feedback. For post #135153 – her right leg looks too short - I think the leg seems shorter because it's raised towards the viewer but I think that is subjective. IMO Ive seen a lot of other images that are approved and have way worse imperfections, this seems kinda nitpicky. Should I assume both post #135701 and post #135700 are going to be deleted as well, since they've been pending for 2 days? Im just trying to get a better understanding of the approval process for future uploads, not trying to be a bother. I appreciate the feedback and your time.

Yeah, there is definitely an element of luck/randomness in the approval process, that's why appealing and this thread exists. We have a ton of images uploaded every month and approvers can't look through all of them so if the image doesn't catch the attention of any one of them who would have liked it, then it gets the deleted label.
The truth is that there's barely any objectivity in the approval and there's nothing I can do about it – I'm already responsible for something like one sixth of all approvals on the site I think. Once I saw the leg on post #135153 I can't unsee it, so it's bothering me. post #135700 looks good imo, I already approved it before reading your message. Nagatoro one seems to have a weird stomach, but that might actually be just me nitpicking.

Understandable, I read some of the previous comments on this thread so I know you guys probably get more than you ask for lol.
