A motorsport series officiated by IMSA, formed in 2014 after a merger between the American Le Mans Series and the Grand-Am Sports Car Championship. As of 2016 the title sponsor is WeatherTech, making it's current official name the IMSA Weathertech SportsCar Championship.
The series consists of endurance and sprint races, including the prestigious Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring. The grid consists of multiple prototype classes (LMDh, LMP2, & LMP3), as well as GT3 cars separated into 2 classes based on driver lineup (GTD-Pro & GTD). DPi-spec prototypes and GTE-spec sports cars previously competed in this series, but were retired in 2022 and 2021 respectively.
