sitting on bed should really just be sitting on_bed. I don't know why it was made. As for on_bed -> bed, I really don't think something like post #5392 should be tagged bed where all you see is the sheet.
There's a lot of other sitting_on_* tags like sitting on chair. I agree with Talulah, it'd be better to get rid of these compound tags and just have sitting & on_* counterpart. There is also lying on bed which seems to be the one of a kind for compound lying tags at least currently.

As initially discussed, these are unnecessary compound tags. There are a few more under sitting_* but those are small enough to manually move and deprecate. It's not like the ones above are big either, but it's better to do it like this so we can have some discussion about whether we want to get rid of the compound tags or not. I don't see a reason why they should be kept myself.
PS. sitting_on_bed was already deprecated by someone.
