post #507 - How to tag this clothing made of "clouds"?
post #416 - The breasts look as if they were made of melting honey. Would slime girl apply? (not all the body has that texture)
And what to tag that hair
post #507 we need create the tag cloud_clothes
post #416 could've slime_(substance) and her hair in the same way, slime_girl in this case is like the slime is attached to her body isn't part of her
that's my perspective about those posts
And need create a little wiki for cloud_clothes

In my opinion isn't bathing its only partially_submerged because doesn't look like she's cleaning her body, and the place isn't a onsen, at least for me.

Is there a tag for this specific see-throught lace? It is often seen on AI images.
the answer is no, we can use lace-trim_dress or any piece of cloth, including some shapes like cross-laced_clothes but not for see-through , in this case I think it is not necessary to have a specific tag, because you can use see-through, in the case the lace is showing some really specific, like nipples or something like that.
Is there a tag for this shoulder tie? post #81750
Can I tag it skirt_basket although she's not lifting her dress? post #81732
Maybe it's not a dress but rather a swimsuit?.. post #81758

Is it really okay to create multiple forum topics for general tag alias requests? Or is it better to ask someone with the necessary privileges?
I was importing tags and their wikis from danbooru and they have aliases.
Admins can't manually create implications or aliases either, so asking someone else would just involve them making a forum topic instead.
What is the current consensus on what to do with third-party_edit / upscaled images that have lost their metadata in the process, but it remains in the original image?
Do you need to copy the metadata from the original or provide a link to the original file or even post it as a parent/child post?
Does AIBooru distinguish between "it has metadata inside a file (automatically attached to a media_asset
)" and "it has metadata (manually) attached to a post"? Does it matter? As far as I understand it, has:metadata means the second variant, am I right?

And another situation.
When importing from Pixiv or Twitter, it's not uncommon to see files that have no embedded metadata at all (or metadata provided by other means), but the original post by an artist has some generic tags that suggest what model was used. Often it is just a single word like novelai or stablediffusion that pops up in translated tags.
What should the uploader do in this case?
Is giving it a tag of the model *supposedly* used here (and partial_metadata) better than nothing?
Or should they ignore tagging the model and just leave metadata_request model_request since there is no model hash and we cannot know for sure?
It's further complicated by the fact that stable_diffusion_(model) *is not* an umbrella tag for anything sd-based as I used to think, without checking. Is novelai different?

There are no set rules whether you need to add the metadata to a post or not. Removing metadata that was already in AIBooru is disallowed and is the only rule towards metadata. So you do not need to copy the metadata, but it is preferrable.
Linking the original unedited post should always be done for third-party edits regardless of the metadata situation. In comment section if the image is not on AIBooru, as a parent post if it is.
There's no distinction between automatically and manually added metadata in any way. Thus, has:metadata does not have this distinction either and has both variants within.

If it's stable_diffusion or similar, the uploader should not tag it is as that is just the base model, not the original Stable Diffusion 1. NovelAI is a model itself and if it's the only hastag the artist used, it's safe to assume it was the original NAI that was used and it can be tagged. Some artists like to gain popularity by tagging all possible combinations like NAI, SD & Dall-E, in which case the uploader should not tag these models as at least one of them is certainly a fake tag.
I only read the first paragraph before answering this one but I pretty much explained everything you need. In cases where you don't tag a model tag, metadata_request + model_request is valid, and yes, as previously mentioned, NovelAI is different case from stable_diffusion_(model).

I wanted to make sure I got the tags right for post #85489, like is there any tags I'm missing or improperly inputted?
By searching commentary_request mixed-language_commentary I see many of these posts were already translated by their authors (i.e. post #82056, post #63164 and post #25322) so I'm wondering if they're mistagged with commentary_request. I could help fix that in that case and translate Japanese commentary that needed it.
Related to that I'm curious whether users has the setting to default to hide notes and show original commentary tab if they opt to (or wonder if it would worth adding it). The site is mainly in English and this may be an off-topic question but I'm learning how things work around here.

Good tagging for the most part. I removed full body, wariza, and yokozuwari because her left leg isn't fully visible. I'm guessing it's wariza but her left foot is out of frame.
If you want advice on loli tagging, no comment from me. See topic #115.

Well,I think everything was fine except for the loli tag. It should be for sexually explicit or very suggestive pieces (so mostly ratings E+Q) which is not the case here

I see, I tagged loli because I the post was flag sensitive, the tag for child mentions it applies for G rated artwork. However, not sure if that applies ether, so I asked about it in the loli check thread.
