It happens infrequently, but I thought it would be good to have a dedicated spot to discuss/identify posts that may not be AI-generated.
If you're unsure whether or not a certain image or set of images is not AI-generated or not, post it here to request for feedback from other users to verify if that is the case.
First me: The post that drove me to make this thread was post #34626, because I can't really tell and the artist's Pixiv/Twitter don't say anything about any of their stuff being AI-generated.
about post #34626 I think it's just heavily post-processed but a real drawing. Stuff like the buttons, belt, ribbon with the cross, seams on the pants look too consistent compared to the general wonkiness of the pose. There is also no invisible watermark (I know it can be disabled but still).
@Imagine_Breaker Did you accidentally upload to wrong booru? I expect this to be the case, as this person has uploaded liretta's art to both Danbooru & AIBooru
Looking at their other works and at the upload again, I'm definitely leaning toward it not being AI. The background was the main thing that was making me question, but it just might be an intentional style/design choice.
I have a general question about animated uploads since I have taken an interest in animating AI-generated images with a Live2D-like tool.
A handful of animated posts have been uploaded to the site, some of which have each individual frame rendered by AI (i.e. post #14148 and post #23296), but others appear to have been initially rendered by AI and animated post processed by a human with a Live2D-like animation tool (i.e. post #27716 and post #29674).
Now I'm not calling into question whether or not these latter posts should be deleted, rather I am looking for guidance on whether human-made post process animation is permissable on AIBooru, even if the baseline image is AI-generated.

For clarification, is a third-party edit adding animation to a known AI-generated image, such as one initially posted here as a parent post, also permitted?

Yes, third-party edits are allowed. You would have the add the original post as the parent (and possibly the derivative work tag) to any upload.

I was answering in messages i really don't know if i can do that . And about that post when i saw this post it had a ai-generated tag like other post in pixiv i don't know how this tags works and if the artist works are ai-assisted and and pixiv detect the use a ai-generated program and generates the tag but the autor can eliminate after or not im try to be careful about Danbooru and AIBooru that image really had the ai-generated tag what happen after i really don't know i actually updated a pair of his post in Danbooru when i saw that post with the tag thats surprised me but that was the reason i uploaded here

From what I understand, having posted a few things there so far; when you upload something to Pixiv, you have to check a box saying whether the upload is an AI-generated work or not. If yes, then Pixiv applies a tag of it's own to distinguish it once it's posted (example: pixiv #109141856) and at that point the only way to remove it would be for the uploader themselves to edit the upload and change their selection to mark it as not AI-generated then re-submit it.
Of course the system only works to some degree because people still mark AI uploads as not being AI and it seems to mainly rely on the uploader being honest. I also don't think Pixiv does anything about it unless you report it (and even then maybe they wouldn't anyway), but I wouldn't know since I never bothered with that.
There are other tags that can be added that are related to identify AI works (like AI-generated illustration, but depending on the settings the uploader chose, tags on an upload can be added and removed by other users or locked so no can can add/remove anything.
To my knowledge, there isn't anything about Pixiv that can auto-detect if an artwork is AI-generated and automatically apply tags to it. It's on the uploader to tag their stuff properly and obviously people there lie and try to pass of AI works as non-AI stuff and then it leads to the issue of works having a potential issue (either due to a simple mistake or some intentional artistic choice) being mistaken as AI-generated.

I understand maybe he accidentally mark his post like ai-generated and i uploaded a few moments later after he uploaded the post this helpme to understand how pixiv works i still trying to learn about pixiv, ai-generated and this happened to me in Danbooru i uploaded an ai-assisted work that are in general most ai-generated that work was deleted I'm still trying to improve my criteria about works i post here, also in Danbooru but i lear ai-generated is growing in an incredible way i saw some post here i cant belive are ai-generated images

Yeah, it could've been an accident on upload or another user added an AI tag then someone else (either another user or the uploader themself took the tag off). I can't say, but that's why I feel kind of troubled that some have become so hyper-vigilant about the stuff that they go out of their way to accuse artists of using AI in-part or in-whole based off of insubstantial things.
I can say is that if you have any doubt about an image you want to upload, you're always free to link any potential uploads here first just to make sure it's an AI image. Also, in general, we don't get a lot of off-topic uploads that are images people think are AI, then it turns out not to be (there's still less than 100 out of the currently near 35,000 posts the site has and most are photographs or screenshots of various things.)

Thx I'm taking note about that and it's really worrying about people accusing artist using AI but that's it's a theme for another occasion always thanks for taking time to explain this topics
This is I'm asking for this this is a artist who had a good record on Danbooru but appear this post https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/109770152 whit ai-generated tag on pixiv in my experience this isn't a ai-generated but it happens to me last time that tag is this mistake on purpose

I'm thinking it's probably a mistake on the artist's part unless it's assisted in some form, but the art style across many of their other works is consistent and none of the other ones I viewed were tagged as AI-generated either, so I believe that one isn't.
post #41437 is it really made by AI? it looks like a modification of this illustration https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/104260764 but I'm not sure if it is modified by an IA, looks just photoshopped, the fact that there is no metadata or he didn't say which AI he used makes me quite doubtful.

No, it's not AI-generated. Original is pixiv #104260764. That upload appears to be a third-party edit instead.
From the same user that tremolo measure mentioned a couple hours ago, I want to ask about post #36611.
I did a look up on it and found twitter #1611711262123257856, which is practically the same image except for the top half which is either AI (probably img2img) or it was edited by the uploader or someone else without AI assistance.
Either way if you look at various details in the rest of the image (the hand on the leg, the legs and feet themselves, the hair braid, and the shoes) you can see they're the exact same as the original with the exception being that the artist's name was removed.
Hello i recently found this artist. https://x.com/booool125747?s=09 i belive his art is almost ai-generated but in some cases are i belive it's ai-assisted, if this the case are enough ai or is more assisted for this booru ?

If it happened, then I honestly don't recall it, but I don't believe it was discussed how little AI involvement an image would need to have to not qualify for upload (barring entirely non-AI works themselves), but if AI did most of the work, then it should be fair game and I think their works are good to upload here.

I have several AI generated pieces that, after the original AI generation, I upscaled using other AI generators that have their own upscaled software. EVERYTHING, I repeat, EVERYTHING I pussy is non-copyrighted, created using AI, UPSCALED using AI, if anyone were to ask me to create new image(s) and/or recreate ANY of the ones I've posted, just give me 2 hours. Oh! By the way, the generator I use is little known to the majority of society, let most AI lovers. That being said, that's the reason I can create custom order pieces or recreate most anything if asked to prove that my work is original production pieces.

@Smurfdiver5 If this is about the reason why you posts were removed. I removed them because they were breaking a rule of no even slightly suggestive realistic or photorealistic images of minors.

Well, ok then. You should go and remove all the others, please. It's only fair.
Hanagata Kai - If you translate their Pixiv description, it tells that the background and the effects are made with AI, but the characters are fully human-drawn. Are these kind of images too human for the site? It's more of ai-assisted than first-party edit at that point.

Generally, my view is that whatever Danbooru doesn't allow is fair game for this site.. and Danbooru usually considers drawn characters with AI background to be AI-assisted, and (usually) allowed so I would say it shouldn't be allowed here.

I really need to get some more eyes on this artist: post #91982
From the Discord iodoff mentioned that his stuff looks AI yet not AI at the same time, his stuff looks a bit AI to me, but somebody else said a hard no that it is AI. I'd really like some more opinions on this one, especially since I haven't really seen AI doing a lot of dorsiflexion.
post #147994 Japanese text in this work is too natural, and this artist prohibits AI training.
I was the one who casted doubts about the origin in the disapproval reason Artist does not have a particularly telling AI style, or even the normal thoroughput often seen in other AI artists Add to that the fact that the image is such simple pottery, AI is not even required here when it can be reproduced with a mouse alone
Is AI-Assisted art like this allowed to post here? The artist posted the coloring process video (https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV19Hz4B8ECa) and metioned AI usage but I'm not sure in which process the artist used AI.
post #153935 Probably should've asked here before uploading. e621 removed all works from this artist, but they're still on Danbooru. Some of the works seem a little questionable, but I don't see an obvious tell.
https://twitter.com/RinFukuMei/status/2048381709914411034 These pics confuse me. They do have an AI-generated look, but the artist also draws manually. The video is definitely animated via AI, but I'd prefer to upload the whole thing.
I realized some of my uploads were not AI generated at all. post #153270post #153385post #153387post #153442 are human-made paintings and post #153065post #153441 are stock photos. Sorry, for some reason I assumed it was just an AI account, but they really upload whatever. My other uploads form there do seem AI generated based on the detectors I checked it with.

Her Twitter account does not mention AI, only that she draws furry commissions. There is nothing about AI in the comments on her artworks either.
On Danbooru, she is not tagged as an AI artist. Only one of her artworks was tagged as AI-assisted by someone several months later. https://danbooru.donmai.us/artists/132499
But there is still no solid evidence. The YouTube channel is built around anti-AI content and relies on drama for engagement.
Overall I think she's using AI, because in this post #121923 you can see that all the eyelashes are drawn differently (maybe on purpose, but that's doubtful). The real problem is that it's hard to tell which of her works are AI-assisted and which aren't, let alone estimate the extent of AI involvement in each piece.
