Interesting LoRA, but I feel that the AI draws “too well” to pass it off as PC-98.
In PC-98 art, the face, especially the chin and jawline, is rounded. Imagine mochi or perhaps dango, something like that. The heads are “flattened circles.”

Another interesting thing is that ZUN never draws the nose very close to one eye; he draws it at a different height and always in the middle.

100% agree. Some images come closer than others but it's never 100% there, be it the character or the background. That's just the consequence of how checkpoints/AI are trained I guess. Still fun to see what it can come up with though.

Personally I think it not being a perfect replica of his style is part is part of the appeal, there's no shortage of PC-98 parody artwork out there (AI-generated or not) so seeing one that's PC-98 inspired while still kind of being it's own thing is cool. It reminds me of keiki8296 and koxapfi4jyljb0d with how their styles are clearly inspired by Moe Harukawa while still being visually distinct from hers.

Japan has many vending machines, and those dispensing meals were once popular. They were used by people working late at night, such as truck drivers. Entering the 1990s, 24-hour convenience stores and restaurants became widespread, leading to the decline of meal vending machines, so they came to be seen as nostalgic curiosities. However, during COVID-19 pandemic, their practicality was recognized once again.

This is just a stupid joke based off the name of Purgatory (the game) being Naraku in japanese. I know this isn't what I usually post but I thought it was funny.

The quality is intentional by the way as this is supposed to look like a screenshot from the game.

Interesting style

Thanks! I'm not sure exactly if it's channeling any specific artists, but I do think "hatching (texture), comic book shading, chiaroscuro, high contrast" is the magic sauce with this batch of gens I've done of this character.

Very pretty, the aesthetic really suits the subject.
I also especially like how the bangs make a heart shape, intentional or not.

Thanks, I was debating on whether or not to add the 'heart' tag since it wasn't intentional and not immediately obvious.

The text on the image seems like the kanji that often appear in Jojo's bizarre adventure, correct me if i'm wrong, or it doesn't mean anything. I'm not Japanese and I did a bit of search.

This character is incomplete, and even if it can be read, it's just an onomatopoeia with no meaning.
