Sexual activity which is visibly very intense and energetic, and in which one or more of the participants may even appear to be in distress (though this does not necessarily mean that rape is occurring). May include elements such as tears, and more violent actions such as asphyxiation or grabbing another's hair. Contrast with happy sex.
