pioneer movement

A mass youth organization for children of age 10-15, descendant from the Scout movement (as well as the Sokol movement) and originating in communist countries, the first being the Soviet Pioneers.

Adapted from the Scout uniform, the traditional item of clothing worn by a pioneer is the Pioneer neckerchief, typically in red.
