nissan skyline c110
The fourth generation of the Nissan Skyline, produced from 1972-1977. Notable for it's muscle car-styled design, inspired by popular American cars of the time.
Like it's predecessor, the C110 had a GT-R performance variant. Launched in September 1972, this generation's GT-R version was only produced for 7 months before being discontinued as the impact of the 1973 oil crisis caused sports cars to fall out of favor in Japan. A total of 197 C110 GT-Rs were produced during it's short run, and the GT-R badge as a whole was discontinued until the R32's GT-R variant launched 16 years later.
