A supporting character in the series Sword Art Online. He's the first character that the protagonist, Kirito, meets in the fictional Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (VRMMORPG) Sword Art Online at the start of the series.

His real life identity is Tsuboi Ryoutarou. His avatar and real life appearance are the same.
