inugami-ke no ichizoku pose
犬神家の一族 (Inugami-ke no Ichizoku, The Inugami Clan) is a detective novel written by Yokomizo Seishi.
It is the most famous of the series of novels starring the fictitious character, Kindaichi Kousuke. So far, it has been made 3 times into a movie, and 5 times into a TV drama series. In particular, the 1976 movie directed by Ichikawa Kon, titled in English as 'The Inugamis', is highly regarded as an amazing masterpiece.
Additionally, this movie is quite often used in parodies due to its some impressive scenes. For example, a dead body that had been thrown into a lake is found with its legs sticking out from the lake's surface. The original novel was set at the beginning of winter, and hence, the dead body was found in that pose as the surface of the lake had frozen over. However, in the film, this scene was filmed at a different time of year, ending up with the legs sticking out from the rippling waters.
This pose, where the top half of the body is stuck upside down and only the legs are sticking out on top, is tagged as "犬神家の一族" on pixiv, regardless of whether this had been the artists' original intention or not.
