hera (mythology)
In Greek mythology, Hera is the goddess of women, marriage, family and childbirth in ancient Greek faith and myth, better known as the sister and the first wife of Zeus. She is the second eldest of the six children of Cronos and Rhea.
Ironically, despite these positive associations with relationships and family, Hera is defined by her vengeful and spiting nature towards the numerous women and illegitimate offspring of her Zeus, a notorious paramour.
