gundam tank
A fictional mecha / tank hybrid from the Gundam mechaverse. Infamously appeared in Gundam 0079 The War for Earth.
After having its lower body (B Part) damaged in a mission and not being repaired by the time it needed to deploy again, the RX-78-2 Gundam is forced to attach to the B Part of the Guntank, resulting in the Gundam launching out with caterpillar tracks instead. This is possible due to the Core Block system the two mecha share, the same system which allows the Gundam to combine with the G-Fighter.
Due to War for Earth being blacklisted by Bandai unlike even G-SAVIOUR, aside from an appearance in a Gihren no Yabou 4koma anthology, a cameo appearance in the second episode of Gundam Build Fighters, and being makeable in Gundam Breaker, the Gundam Tank has not made many appearances since.
