dragon ball super
ドラゴンボール超 dragonballsuper DBS 龍珠超
Dragon Ball Super is a sequel to Dragon Ball Z, with the story being set 6 months after the defeat of Kid Buu. The anime began airing on July 5, 2015, with the manga appearing just slightly before on June 20. Toriyama Akira is credited for the "original story & character design concepts", in addition to his role as series creator, as well as providing more direct corrections and feedback for the manga. Toyotarou, the Super mangaka, is also credited with "character design concepts".
Crucially, while the anime and manga follow the same base story notes provided by Toriyama, the way those notes are approached can differ significantly between the two, even when each side collaborates on select elements. While the anime has ended on March 25, 2018, with only new movies coming out since then, the manga has continued on.
