The 2014 FIFA World Cup is the 20th FIFA World Cup, a tournament for the men's association football world championship, took place in Brazil from June 12 to July 13, culminating with the final in Rio de Janeiro.

Germany won their fourth champion title after a victory against Argentina 1-0 in extra time. This World Cup is also well known for Brazil's humiliating defeat to Germany 1-7 in the semi-final.
