The Victorian Era of the United Kingdom was the period of Queen Victoria's reign from June 1837 to January 1901. Its culture and influence spread throughout Europe and America.
The tag should be use pertaining to the fashion of the era, which was known for the elaborate gowns women wore and the top hat, or if a character is wearing Victorian looking clothes.
Not to be confused with Gothic Lolita which is a modern style inspired by Victorian fashion.
This was also the era in which the famous story of Alice In Wonderland was created.
