Edit
A six-pointed star (✡) recognized as a symbol of Judaism. The Star of David is used both in relation to mysticism, in which many of the magical hexagrams borrow its use, and today, as a symbol of Jewish self-identification. Its shape consists of a compound of two equilateral triangles.
Also known as the "Shield of David" or "Magen David" (מגן דוד) in Hebrew.
