NO MORE 映画泥棒
"NO MORE Eiga Dorobou" ("NO MORE Movie Thieves", or "NO MORE Movie Theft") is a series of messages that played nationwide in Japanese theaters before movies. The messages talk about the penalties for bootlegging a film or downloading music illegally.
The messages star Movie Thief, a dancing, suit-wearing man with a camera for a head. A narrator says,
"Filming and recording inside a theater is a crime. According to law, it is punishable by up to ten years imprisonment and/or fines of up to ten million yen. If you come across any suspicious conduct, please immediately report it to theater staff. The police will be notified at once. No more movie thieves."
