Azusa was originally a 27 year old Japanese office worker who died from overwork. A sympathetic goddess transported her soul to a fantasy world and fulfilled Azusa's wish for immortality, so she could always live leisurely, by reincarnating her as a physically 17 year old witch already possessing the difficult to obtain witch ability to never age. To maintain her somewhat frugal life style she would daily hunt slimes to sell their magic stones to the adventurer's guild. After 300 years of doing this she unknowingly reached the max level of 99, making her potentially the strongest in the world.
