is it okay to upload an image without any metadata at all? i'm trying to figure out what the current community stands in terms of reproducibility, the last time this question were asked was 9 months ago and the answer was "booru first and not prompt repository", so what's the consensus?

Metadata has never been mandatory, it's just highly appreciated if it's provided. So yes, it is acceptable to upload without any metadata.
