The most common kind of questions will be about the proper reading for Chinese/Japanese/Korean names, provided the guides did not cover that well enough.
Firefox only (recommended addon)
For Firefox users, I strongly recommend installing the addon called Rikaichan (nowadays called "10ten reader"). It shows the possible readings of JP terms, but also the proper names when pressing the SHIFT key, and even the pinyin reading of isolated kanjis. Note that it cannot recognize Simplified Chinese characters, but it can detect Traditional Chinese ones.
It does not solve all problems, but all in all it is a very helpful tool.
