R.I.P Stable Diffusion in Colab

Posted under General

Well... It seems that a while ago stable diffusion webui was banned in Colab. When you try to run it in colab, it says that the notebook contains "restricted code". For people who don't know. Don't ever click "continue anyway", as this will lead to you being banned in Colab in the nearest future. As an active Google Colab user, I wanna cry :D
However, I think this could be related to Google banning deepfakes. Perhaps it can be unbanned after webui removes img2img/inpainting, but I'm not sure.

I don't know if this post will be defined as an offtopic, but I just wanted to share this with you.

You can still rent a runpod or other cloud compute service/run it locally.

You can use NoCrypt's colab: https://colab.research.google.com/drive/1wEa-tS10h4LlDykd87TF5zzpXIIQoCmq
Or Kaggle: https://www.kaggle.com/code/camenduru/stable-diffusion-webui-kaggle (older webui, additional-networks doesn't work but not half bad). https://www.kaggle.com/code/roguewild/automatic1111-s-stable-diffusion-webui (newest webui, everything works fine I think, but has some strange arguments like --no-half-vae or --no-hashing (you can remove it). Also Kaggle bans for NSFW, but has file persistence option (so you'll not have to download models, extensions and etc. again), and file manager doesn't work properly.
Or something like paperspace, runpod and other compute services. Also there's a lot of generation services like SeaArt AI who provide free generations with any model you like.
