I'm kinda out on Despera. Ryutaro Nakamura was the only person with a vision who worked on Serial Experiments Lain and he's been dead for 13 years. Abe is a total hack, the only writing credit he has in his near 30 year career of mediocrity is Texhnolyze (which is fucking AWFUL) and Chiaki hasn't written anything successful since 2007. Despera will be the same, no studio has wanted it for 20+ years because it's badly written and destined to flop. I hate to blackpill but I grew up with my dad's extremely rare signed VHS set of Lain (now a collector's item worth nearly $4k lolol) and it's an objectively bad show, NOBODY remembers the brown goo monster, NOBODY remembers the awful Cyberia scene (other than the kiss), NOBODY remembers the CIA agents pointing lasers through her window, NOBODY remembers the ending where she fights some black haired floating guy calling himself God, NOBODY remembers the family drama plotline that was instantly dropped, NOBODY remembers the names of Lain's friends. None of these scenes added anything to the plot, they just happened and were forgotten immediately by the plot and never had any impact on the story. Nobody likes Serial Experiments Lain, they just think Lain herself is cute because wouldn't it be nice to have a cute, young, spergy computer nerd gf? And that's fine. I love Lain for that reason too, but the show is objectively fucking terrible and nobody remembers details from it because it's terribly written. Despera will be equally shit but without the directing talent of Nakamura. This is coming from an actual Lain fan who *watched* the fucking show unlike most performative Lain "fans". Don't get your hopes up. It'll be the talk of the town in niche internet circles for 3 weeks, then everyone will get bored and go back to Lain like it never happened. Nobody will have a Despera profile picture 30 years after it aired.

Also my power went out while typing this, (https://files.catbox.moe/pti1ux.jpg) that's a PROPHETIC coincidence. Maybe I shouldn't insult the goddess of the Wired or she'll literally throw tree branches on the power lines

I wonder if ChatGPT pulls some Google Street View images to use as reference, because this actually legitimately looks like one of the small back alleys in Ishigaki.

Or did you give it some photo as reference that we're not seeing in the metadata?

No, this is totally all on ChatGPT. I guess it just has enough training data and contextual inference to prompt DALL-E very well. I've been to Oki as well, and south Kin looks just like this.

Btw, why did you tag yourself as drawfag?

I'm going to remove the self-upload tag until they explain because they're commenting about iodoff's bot putting self-upload on their other Drawfag posts and this is probably why.

Edit: Changed my mind, I'm actually going to remove the drawfag artist tag on the posts that aren't sourced to 4chan and seem to be actually made by them.

exLight,

I tag myself as drawfag if it's my own gens simply because I want to remain anonymous and have no desire to be a followed artist, but do want to contriubte to the culture. My name here is literally randomly generated.

Drawfag serves that purpose for 4chan anon's, so I'm hitching a ride. Alot of my uploads are not mine, anon posts from 4chan.

I understand wanting to isolate drawfag to 4chan, but the wiki cites it as "anonymous posters on western imageboards". By technicality, danbooru and aibooru are western imageboards, and allowing anonymous users to self-upload under drawfag overcomes any potential artist_request call. Your guy's call, and I'll happily comply going forward.

Would be an interesting idea if it was a ghost girl or something but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Like can ghost girls go through themselves?

I've seen slime girls do it to pleasure themselves, I think ghost girls wouldn't even feel anything if they tried

"What do you mean by that? I don't think I ever searched anything that deranged? The worst was probably that one story where the main character gets detained by a sexy FBI agent, handcuffed, and called a perv while she… Oh I think I understand now."

Don't fall for the honeypot, antlers, that's how they get you

That smile, those gorgeous eyes that you just sink into like pools of love.

Oh shit, there's a girl, too. Huh.

I think that tuna is taken, but you know what they say "plenty of fish in the sea".

I don’t think working for others and enduring pain is a good thing. I once said:

While it's nice to be appreciated by others, I won't hurt myself to earn their approval. If everyone could make themselves happy, there would be no need to make others happy. That's why I'm using generative AI.

🤓☝️ umm, actually, that's the kind of viewfinder overlay you'd see on a screen. plus, there's a "rec" indicator, so he's recording a video, not taking photos

Yes. Initially, I wanted to draw an accurate camera HUD, but in the end I decided not to bother. It wasn't that important to me, and it still looks recognizable as a camera HUD to the average user. I didn't think anyone would actually comment on it, lol. Especially when we're talking about Pixiv.
It was more important to me that Megumin's bandages were always on the correct side, as well as other details.

Tbf, Megumin doesn't know whether Kazuma is recording a video or taking a picture, so I don't see any inconsistency there.
